The medieval period is a favorite historical time for many of us to reenact and remember. We fantasize about beautiful castles, remarkable countryside, kings and queens, and the romance their courtships. Offer, as well, a toast to, and lest we forget, the honorable knights, protectors of the kingdom.

Here, we will remember and re-document the trials and tribulations of those Dark Ages, as well as, participate and celebrate in the more romanticized and fantastical versions. Here, knights will face off, as will clerics and mages, in tournaments, the games of strength and chance. Castles will take pride in their players and communities will carry on in conversation and forums to talk about and exchange information.

Imagine merchants lining the streets with their carts full of wheat and this-n-thats for sale. Celebrations, fairs, dancing and other activities make the hard times and sheer determination to survive slip away into the winds of music, laughter, and ale.
